50 Top Web Hosting Providers

Here at Web & Moore, we have dedicated servers through 1and1, for all our customers, however, we do not require our customers to use our hosting. You are more than welcome to choose your own hosting provider, so here is some inside info and rankings to help you decide. Please see our post about Dedicated Servers and why they are better than shared…

Here are our opinions on a few of these hosting companies:

1. Godaddy.com – very well priced, easy to use, cheap for shared server needs. Great for domain buying.

2. 1and1.com – slightly more expensive but performance is significantly better, customer service is great, 99.9% uptime. OUR CHOICE! BEST SERVERS!

4. HostGator.com – we use to use shared servers from hostgator, but after days of outages, we switched to 1and1 and never looked back. We still monitor hostgator and their blog and they seem to have outtages all the time at their Provos center, and we aren’t talking hours of downtime, we are talking days. I would have recommended them before, but I would stay away from them, far!

8. Rackspace – EXPENSIVE for what it is and what you actually get

We have also built sites for customers on web.com, bluehost, networksolutions, dreamhost, justhost, hostmonster, and more. Nothing much to say about them…they work.
